The Seer's Tower

This is kind of a pointless post, but I just wanted to say: I am bewitched by the following lines by Sufjan Stevens:

Oh my mother, she betrayed us
But my father loved and bathed us

People? Nature and God? Eve and...? I don't know. It makes me feel things.
